What is happening here???? Do I like this ... this...."change"?

I mentioned before that Hoya is getting more idol-like handsome this year. He's changed so much now that I don't even know if I like it. He looks awesome, freaking awesome, better than before! But...I miss the bearish, eyebrowish guy whose biggest charm was his wit, special type of humor, precise dance movements...I know it's still there, but him getting "beautiful" is distracting from that rough manly handsomness, that natural charms. I miss Hoya from Sesame player....
Do I make sense? I mean...if I fall for idol who is not face-idol, or body-idol I love love even adore to watch him closely, for there is always one angle or scene or even movement that makes him look soooooooo hansome out of the blue, it's thrilling to watch. Love him for skills, character, cuteness etc. and get surprised anytime he suddenly looks beautiful. When it's occationaly visual, you knwo what I mean? Hoya had body ever since debut, that's true, but I really fell for him for all different reasons but his look. And now that he's getting such an fluffy eyecandy I feel like he's "reduced".
Please people, someone, tell me you know what I mean T.T I don't need to necessary hear that someone agrees or understands, just that you know what I mean and that I am not weird O.o
