God, just wanted to post a quickie before running off to work. We watched "Beckett" today in English to study Medieval times. THIS MOVIE IS SO GAY, by which I mean "extreme homo-erotic undertones", not stupid. The king spends half the time hugging on Beckett, and collapsing drunk in his bed, saying "I don't want to be alone tonight, Thomas!"
And Beckett is such a heartless bastard. He does the right thing, but stomps all over the king and his "friendship" in the process. The king, asfter that betrayl, spends the rest of the movie screaming at Beckett "I LOVED YOU THOMAS!!!!11!11" Becket replies. "
