So, I havent updated about poker in a few days... mainly bc I havent played too much. I've been up and down for the most part. I'm still hanging around the $290 mark. havent been able to keep a steady pace of winning poker going. I just need to focus more, which has been hard lately.
I actully made a deal with my brother so that both of us can make money at once:
Pokerstars runs satellites to get into their Sunday $215 tournament. The winner of the satellite has two choices
1-Play in the tournament
2- Unregister from the tournament and get Tournament dollars.
Tournament dollars (T$) are money that can only be used to buy into tournaments. No cash games, and you cant cash it out. Some cash game players like to sell the T$ if they win a satellite for cash. People sell 215T$ for as little as 175 cash. What Geoff and I are going to do is buy the T$ for 175-185 cash, and then sell them for 195-205, making money.
We're going to keep trak of the money we make off of that and use that money to pay for entries into big tournaments like the $109, or the $150 No Limit. which usually pay 12-18 thousand to first place. and we'll split the profit, if any, from the tournament. Of course Geoff will play the big tournament. It's no secret he's the better poker player of the two of us... I'd be the first one to tell you that.
We're both still gonna play the same tournaments we usually do in the meantime ie, my SNGs and his MTTs, but then throw in one big one when we get enough money.
So I have #312.50 in my account right now, but $20 of it is shared with Geoffrey.
