So, a lot I (and most of us, really) post about things not working. Things that are frustrating. Things we'd like to see different.
Well, my friends, this is a post about something that was done right.
So, I'm at the grocery store and I want new shoelaces and I am looking at all the shoelaces choices. I might have guessed, before heading to the store, that they would come in different lengths and that I probably should have measured mine before setting out to buy new ones. I might have; but I didn't. So, I am standing there and wondering about how long my shoelaces are and I pick up a packet of likely-length-ed ones and I flip it over and, lo, there is a handy graphic on the back showing sets of holes with laces going through them and a measurement in inches after them. Each set has one more pair of holes than the last. So, all I had to do was count the number of holes on my shoes, and then match that to one of the pictures and then buy the laces the number of inches long indicated. I did this. And it worked.
Huzzah!
