Really, I should have waited and made this entry tomorrow. Tomorrow, Dr. Riley is going to spray some kind of topical numbing type thing up my nostrils and then run a fiber optic camera into my sinuses and down my throat. This is to have a look at what is or is not obstructing my breathing, to the extent it is obstructed, when I am sleeping. This is so he can figure out if he wants to work anything else into my jaw surgery, when we get there, or take out my tonsils or whatever.
As far as how things are going, mostly my teeth went back to feeling a lot like they did the previous week. For the first few days my lower front teeth were kind of extra hurty. And for the last few days my upper front teeth have been kind of extra hurty. But, nothing like the first week after the braces were initially put on.
Until about yesterday, flossing was fairly unpleasant and my front teeth all actively hurt for a couple hours afterward. Now, I'm pretty much back to the regular weird tenderness from the teeth, not the gums, whilst flossing and it feels fine several minutes later. So, that's all pretty much ok.
In other news, last weekend I did work out one day. I did 50 minutes of
Dance Dance Revolution and then jumped rope for ten minutes. Well, I jumped rope for about five minutes, then wheezed for thirty seconds or so, then jumped rope for three minutes, then wheezed for thirty seconds or so, then jumped rope for another couple of minutes. I believe this is backwards and I should pace myself better, perhaps. Anyway.
Also, I worked out this morning, as per The Plan. Today,
paeyl did not join me since he and
mal were off looking at ULTRASONIC!!!! pictures of Bean. I can't tell you how excited I am for them and how much I am enjoying knowing them as they are becoming parents.
