Well, I supposed I just read that entire Wells Tower book while I was on the plane. I liked it but y'know that thing where you read a whole book of short stories in a sitting or one day and they all start, like, just seeming like the writer is connecting the short story dots? Like, in this one there was a sick moose, was the interesting thing, and

I was nonplussed by that book. I kept wanting to like it, but I kept feeling like "and so?" Maybe I've been reading too many law books to be able to handle ambiguity in my texts.

I read that book and I know exactly what you mean. I liked the stories alright, but felt like the while theme was Men And Their Melancholy Deal With Illness and/or Death.
