Meme time!

Actually, for the subject line I wanted to use "not unless these are magical, wish-granting planks", but it didn't make any sense in context. God bless you, Firefly DVDs.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

Eh. I try not to predict how much I'm going to write, so this one's sort of an odd question for me. More earlier in the year, and I've sort of petered out a little here near the end. (Heee. 'Petered'.)

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2003?

Tony/Nelly. And you wouldn't believe the shit I got for that, either.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.

Huh. Probably Some Kinda Casual Thing, because it's the second time I've written a threesome, and this one I'm actually proud of. (First one's in Roswell, and wow. Not so much.) Also, it featured drunk popstars, and that's always fun to write.

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?

Not so much. On the other hand, I really didn't try to. Though I think the two or three times I wrote outside my OTP, I'd like to think it didn't entirely suck.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

I want to finish the faerie story, and the Alien Nation AU (which only Dacey will get, but that's okay, because she is my supplier and keeps sending me photomanips and links and whatnot). I'd like to finish the 5 Things That Never Happened to Britney bit, because I like it (I wrote Britney/The Ring! And it doesn't totally suck!), and I'd like to do something with the *NSYNC/Firefly thing I've talked about with Kristen (a snippet of which will be forthcoming tonight, btw), and I'd really, really like to start the Stargate/Planetary tempe mentioned a while back, if only because I just like the idea of Elijah Snow and Jakita Wagner standing in the gateroom.

But really, the only things I have to physically force myself to do are Kim's birthday story (from two years ago, no less. Wow. I don't procrastinate at all, do I?) and - fingers crossed - finish timeshift before 2005.
