Ooooh what did you BUY? I bought merch, but that's sort of excusable because it was at a show. And I bought the music. And I would buy the action figures if I could find them.

...Pete the AV geek. Pushing his little Powerpoint stations on carts! Monitoring the language lab! And Mikey is a computer geek, all narrow and slinky, and he has his own iBook and carries it around under one arm and is constantly readjusting his emo glasses.

I went to the mall today. Clearly, this was some kind of tactical error, because I left with two CDs, a poster, a shirt, and a vague sense of hatred for the fact that I could not bring the entirety of Hot Topic home with me. I also currently have Release the Bats winging its way to my house, but it doesn't ship 'til the 16th ( ... )

Also, I am now plagued by the idea of telling the *entire story* of this AU, up to and including the part where we meet Mikey’s ex-boyfriend Pete, who’s in charge of the school’s AV department and his three friends OH GOD KILL ME.

Nope, not until AFTER you write it, because Frankie/Gerard high school AUs? So TOTALLY one of my favorite flavours of crack. This was just a beautiful little tease. I want MORE.

I have the horrible feeling I am going to wind up writing that. Goddammit.

Because - you know, just the idea of Pete the AV Geek, in his school uniform with the shirtsleeves rolled up and wearing glasses, hunched over the Avid because Mikey up and dumped him after ten months? For a *girl*, no less? It's plaguing me.

Oh, no. There's - I mean, I'm kind of loathe to admit it, because this entire fandom is shiny and sort-of pairing-free for me, and I started off Mikey/Gerard, but. You know. You watch the video for INOK enough times, you get switched around to being a Frank/Gerard girl.
