Harry didn't hear a word of of Minister Shacklebolt's grave speech. Even on the tenth anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, the wounds were too fresh. As soon as the ceremony was over, he stumbled into the castle, feeling overwhelmed.
“Too many ghosts,” he choked, overcome with emotion.
“Oh Harry,” Ginny said sadly.
He held out his arms for her. “At least we have each other,” he said, embracing her.
They stood for another hour before leaving. The memories of each one of their fallen companions fresh in their minds, as the ghosts-visible and invisible-floated around them.
