In the moment that she sees Harry’s dead body being carried into the Great Hall by Hagrid, Ginny wants to scream. Or maybe she does scream. The difference between reality and suspended reality is too difficult to discern right now.
She is flooded with memories, Harry happy, Harry determined, Harry kissing her, Harry fighting for them all. Harry the hero.
And then it happens. Harry springs up, suddenly, miraculously alive and Ginny herself has everything to live for again. She feels the fear leave her, as she prepares to go and fight for Harry’s life and, most especially, their love.
