Nicely done. Very grin-inducing, and I think that the vagueness of the ending is a good thing and not just an artifact of the 100 word limit. I had always heard "bachelor party" rather than "stag party" but that might be an Americanism.

It was a bit of both, actually. The original drabble was 128, so I had to down-size.

And I believe that 'bachelor party' is an Americanism, as I know for sure that the British female version is a 'hen party' and not a 'bachelorette party' but I suppose a Google search can confirm this.

Indeed, Wikipedia confirms that the brit term is "stag party" and that "bachelor party" is used only in the US and South Africa. So, my Yankee is showing.

And I really like how it turned out -- I didn't mean by my comment to imply that it needed more words, only that I really enjoyed the finished product.

Oh yes, I took it to be a nice comment. Sorry, I'm in France right now and have been speaking French all week with my family, so maybe my ability to express myself in English has just escaped me today.

Perhaps once day I will write an expanded version of Harry's stag party. I just tend not to do well with longer fics. :(

I would be proud for you to friend me! I post fics to this journal, when I write fics. Mostly I write original stuff, which is on a blog.

I used to be terrible at short fics (for years I could only write mammoth 50,000+ word epics) but I've gotten better with practice! I look forward to reading more about Harry's stag party!
