Zürich and such
I don't know if some of you knew but this Christmas my family is going to Zürich!! Very exciting city in Switzerland...and I've never been to Europe.
My dad thought it would be a great treat for my mom, who is still fighting cancer and is up for a trip. He wants to give her a great trip because she's been through so much...and Ashley and I are coming too because it's christmas! We'll be there for a week.
I'm really excited about this and gosh...it's a totally new feeling. Ever since I found the drug Ativan (or Lorazepam), I have been able to peacefully get on and off of a plane...and actually look forward to trips that involve air travel. This used to be non-existant; I would be so nervous that I wouldn't want to go, no matter where the trip was to. And then I would go crazy on the plane. So I'm just so thankful that I can finally enjoy a trip, and I know drugs are just a scapegoat but there is just no other way right now.
Another thing is that I'm going to trade in my Olympus for a Canon...finally putting up my white flag and getting the big brand--I've been told time and time again that it will make the difference that I need, such as continuous shooting that my olympus failed to do right. Also high ISO was killing me with the Olympus.
So I hope everyone is surviving finals and has a great break.
