Ancient ethnic gimmicks
So I am working at intel this summer. and I work in this cleanroom they call the FAB. which is baisiccly this giant room with lots of big machines were you can't get anything dirty.
Now on ever machine in the FAB. there is a large RED button with the letters E.M.O. printed in white letters. Now I am a little Foggy on what the letters mean, something like Emergency Machine Override, or Emergency Mechanical Off.
Either way I think they are standing for the wrong thing. I think they should stand for EMO music. So every worker is no more than five feet away from a large Red button that is waiting to pump hi-qual EMO music through the PA system at any time.
lets say a new employee is getting to happy and we want to curb his enthusiasm. BAM. EMO music. and fifteen minuites aftera high dose of "Bright Eyes" the once light hearted enthusiatic individual is down to his old dreary and boring mood.
at least that is what I would have installed in my workplace when I am rich.
