So Dani has mind powers. She can mess with your character by manifesting their worst fear OR greatest desire. She also has neural arrows. The arrows will mess with the nervous system but it can mess with the mind too. So this just to make sure we're on the same page. Let me know if it can or can't work on your character. Thanks!
TELEPATHY...KINDA
So Dani uses her psionic power by projecting a "real" vision of either your greatest fears or greatest desires from your subconscious. The sticky part here is that Dani won't know what those fears or desires are, she'll just manifest them. This projection is something everyone else will be able to see but not as realistically as the actual target of Dani's powers. The key to this power is that Dani would be attacking your character emotionally. She'd be pulling out the part of your character that they keep deep inside their head.
She can't use this power over the Network and she can't use this power through the comms. As long as she can see you with her own eyes though, no matter how far, she can project the illusion.
Another aspect of Dani's power is that she can make these images tangible with psionic force. This is not limited to greatest fear or desire, but it is tied up with those emotions. So if you greatly desire an ice cream truck, she can make it real with her mind. But it'll eventually go away once she stops providing it with power. The drawback here is that she can only do this for one image at a time. So if you need fire-fighting equipment, she'll provide that for you. But if you need a fire hydrant too, you'll have to give up the fire fighting equipment.
NEURAL ARROWS
Well, if she's attacking your character's nervous system, that's going to be just that. Mostly using it to knock the person unconscious. However if she wants, the arrows can be a way for her to make the target relive a traumatic memory. She doesn't manifest any deep fears but she can have the target live his or her worst memory.
PSYCHIC SHIELDS
Dani doesn't appear very often on the astral plane. And she's not a traditional telepath. But she can hold her own if she has to and is more resistant to a psychic attack than normal.
That's everything. Leave me a note for any questions, clarifications, concerns. Dani's still got the hand-to-hand fighting and weaponry experience too but I figure that'll just roll along. :)
