Yes, I am a 30-year-old woman with several degrees and many responsibilities and what have you. But when I hear the words "snow day" and find out that classes are canceled, my heart sings inside my chest. It is NUTS here today; the Iowa City bus system is suspended until further notice, the snow in my parking lot is almost entirely covering the front tires of my car, and it looks like the streets haven't been plowed (and IC is usually on top of this stuff!). Steven left Sunday (boo), so a snow day in bed is pretty much what I need. Huzzah!
