Pippin scarf
yesterday I bought yarn and started knitting a scarf similar to Pippin's. I'm using Wool Ease colors Wood #232 and Oxford Gray #152, which are rather dark and "the same", but it was the closest I could get. I'm using bamboo skewers in lieu of knitting needles, which result in a firm gauge. I'm knitting it back and forth and letting it curl under and have 7 repeats. currently I have completed 6 rows of repeats.
last night I was semi-watching Star Wars: A New Hope while knitting. the acting and dialog cracks me up. "let the Wookie win."
I started this livejournal mainly so I could leave comments at others' livejournals. semielliptical's has so much info on knitting a Pippin scarf.
