today I finally got around to blocking my Pippin scarf. maybe it isn't the proper way to do it but I just used a steam iron on the back to flatten it out a bit. it had been rolled up like a stiff tube, but now the edges still curl under (as they should) but the scarf itself is much more drape-y instead of snake-like. the edges with the fringe flattened out too, instead of sticking out like a weird grass skirt. so I'm happy. :) and I'm wearing the scarf right now.
my next project is the
Rogue sweater, which I think looks LotR-ish. haven't decided on a color yet, but I plan to order from
Barlettyarns , probably one of the Fisherman or Glen Tweed or Rangely yarns. I had ordered samples from them but they haven't arrived yet. I'm impatient to get started and can only check my mail once a week so I'll probably just take a chance and go ahead and order...
