"SURVIVAL NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE"

Jul 06, 2005 16:58

Hello Everyone,
Ben here,

I hope all of your 4th of July Weekends were full of
fireworks and debauchery. We had a little gathering for John's birthday on
the 4th which turned into some excellent card playing involving running into walls
at full speed and clam eating.
It makes sense if you were there.

In io news:
I will be playing a solo show at the Local 506 in
Chapel Hill on Wednesday July 13. Also playing will be
a great NC band called "Cities" and "Dressy Bessy".
The show is 18+...Be sure to get there by 9:30 to
catch my set. Also if there is anything in particular
that any of you want to hear, be sure and email me and
I'll do my best to make it happen.

In other news, the band will be out in California in
the late summer practicing with a new bass player and
getting ready for more shows and some touring. We all
can't wait to get back on stage and getting out on the
road again.

We had so much fun recording our new EP in LA last the
spring. On it are two new songs, and new versions of
Hummingbird, North Carolina, and Your Subterranean
autumn. It is by far the we've ever sounded and we're
exited for you all to hear it. If you still don't
have a copy be sure to let us know and we'll be happy
to mail it to you.

that's all for now.
Thank you for everyone who came out to see us on tour-
we'll be sure to be back wherever you are quite soon.
yours in rock,
Ben & io
