End of a era
Our onery old Flip, the cockatiel that we've had since BEFORE the current house, has passed on after a night of twitching, and a couple of years of pulling out her body feathers.
This bird went through a lot in life, from being thrown onto the ceiling, to fish-hooking herself with a safety pin, and to accidentially get spritzed with rubbing alcohol. She's seen quite a few pets come and go, and she stuck with her mate.
Now she's sharing a grave with Aussie and Poco, and I just know she'll reincarnate as another cockatiel.
