Aragorn tried not to think about it. Blades of grass swaying languidly in the soft breeze and a certain Halfling walked dreamily in the midst of all those. He had always loved wandering alone out there on the meadow down the valley at the back of Bag End.
It had changed. The soft sands beneath callused feet and palm trees and the bright sun. They were what Frodo surrounded himself with now. He would be happy. He was healed. Unbound from old wounds and torment in his heart.
Aragorn lost himself seeing nothing and no one but Frodo in his mind. If only he was freed from heartache, too.
