Plans changing for college. Alongside anthropology, I hope to study:

Being home really has reminded how enjoyable it is to talk about college. I'm excited to study German for no other reason that to visit Germany and Austria more easily. I would have loved to stay longer in Europe had I firstly, not ran out of euro, and secondly, access to laundry. But now though, more than ever, I'm determined. Determined to study abroad and live in a country that's not this one. What a landscape.
I finally got a seminar packet from Michigan. It had a Czech literature and culture course as an option. Before, say, last week, I would have quickly looked past it, but now, I'm easily interested and may sign up. If nothing else comes from such a nice vacation, it'll be this new necessity to compliment the many hanging flags in my room by traveling as often as I am able.
What an urge to return to the continent my parents fought horribly to escape.
Well, oh well. Summer's great, by the way. Lots of free time to hang out.
