Yes, I am curious how anything could end a school of thought/philosophy (ie: communism, facism, or nazism(?)), but I thought they were somewhat amusing, as long as you don't tke them seriously. I used to have a disclaimer on my lj-user info that nothing that I say or do should be taken any more seriously than I take it, and because I am most often the first person to laugh at the things that I do, I don't think anyone should take it seriously.
But when I wrote that, It made no sence, so I removed it from my info.
The other two images were amusing when you read the story behind them. They both come from an anti-halliburton rally that was thrown in dallas. The protestors contcted no one, they were within their right to protest, and were within the sidewlk, but did attempt to block people who were walking. The (so-called) protest warriors contacted law enforcement, cleared themselves legally, and joined the protest with those signs. They were met with violence, and in one case, a protest-protestor was shoved into traffic. (the leader of the original protest asked the agressor and the antagonist to leave, but none the less, it proved a point).
All in all, I use politics as a source of amusement. The most amusing part about that joke is that the punch line is 4 to 8 years long.
