I started work last Wednesday at the call centre. Actually I started training. It was brutally boring, I had to get up between 5:30 and 6:00am for three days straight and sit in a class room for eight hours. I fell asleep so much. Luckily the people I'm working with are nice enough, and the bosses are pretty awesome. Now that I've seen exactly what I'll be doing, I'm looking forward to starting on Tuesday much more. I just made a budget, and assuming I keep this job, I'll be making tons of money starting in like June. There are people who have started there as Globe and Mail sellers almost two years ago and are already managers and making over 50 grand a year. That's not to say I want to stay working there as a career, but if I end up doing it for mroe than a year or something I'll be making way better money than I ever could as a journalist. If I work there for one year, I can have about half of my college tuition paid for for three years, maybe more. I'll finally be out of debt!

Yesterday was St. Patrick's day; I have no money, but I met Robbie at Molly Bloom's where Hastings works, and the guy he works with gave me a bunch of free drinks. I'm glad I didn't get trashed, it was packed there so it was just hilarious watching everyone. Today will be spent playing video games.
