Symposium held in the Core of my Being
I had an epiphany today. It struck me whilst I was talking a break from the "mad" rush of beautifying people who need beautifying of thier personalities more than their actual appearance.
America is a giant shithole.
We spend more time and money on things we don't need than helping out other countries whose people spend more time and energy on finding food and shelter.
We "worry" about what we'll do when we "grow up" when people spend time worrying about what they can do to prevent thir kids from dying of disease.
We tear apart eachother apart verbally against eachothers race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, when people over in the Middle East are being torn apart by bombs and guns.
How would you like to wake up one morning and discover that your home was blown into bits? Awake to find your father, husband, brother, or children dead in the streets? To watch aircraft fly over you praying that they don't drop bombs upon you. To watch men die for a meaningless effort.
I want to do something. I want my effort to have meaning and better mankind. I don't want this nation to be the "Iron Fist" of the World. The Bully everyone must suffer to. How are we to evolve if we base our instincts on primitive war?
I want peace.
