♣ Show Related How long have you been watching the show? What do you love about it? I've been watching from the very beginning. If I'm honest, I wasn't sure that I'd like it, because I'm generally not a fan of cop shows. Of course, it didn't take long to discover that SouthLAnd wasn't your typical procedural cop show. I love the characters. I love how raw and intense each performance is. I love that it's so character-driven, and we get a glimpse into the lives of police officers and the burden of their work. I love that we witness mistakes, and that the show explores why and how these mistakes are made. I love the urgency of the cinematography. I love everything about this show, and it pains me how under-appreciated it is and that so few people are watching it. It is truly a work of art. Favourite Character(s) : John Cooper. Ships, if any? Sherman/Cooper. Favourite Season? 3, I think. Favourite Moments and Quotes? (Spoilers for aired episodes) Oh, there are so many: the scene between Ben and his mom when she tells him what really happened when he was 10; Nate's death and the way his wife collapses into Sammy's arms, for how heartwrenching and raw it was; John taking to Michael in Legacy and then jumping after him; John testifying against his father; Lydia finding out about Rus' betrayal and the ensuing confrontation; Ben telling John he's a menace and driving him to rehab.
