Guh. Preparing to sell everything I ever owned, in order to mass-murder the last of my debts.

SHOULDA BEEN A BIG BOY TWO YEARS AGO.

BOO. HOO.

So, if anyone wants to buy cameras, guns, computers, or guitars, let me know.

Never sell your guitar. Trust me almost did it when I was hard up and now I'm so glad I didn't. What the fuck else are you going to do when you can't sleep and you've already rubbed 3 out?

Also, is it weird that I saw "guns" and thought about it?

I'm actually serious about it. Target shooting is one of the most meditative things I've ever done, and I miss it.

That's something I've always wanted to get into but never have much like motorcycles, more tattoos, flying planes, and a functional relationship.

I'd have to do some serious research on the gun laws in the city, as I am much to snarky and diminutive for jail.

Wow. We have the same list of "things to try someday."

Although, I guess I do have the tattoo part covered. Off to make a consult appointment with my guy for the next one...

There's a range not too far from here that will let you rent a handgun if you want to fuck around for a couple of hours. It is great fun.

just before I left seattle I went to a range with my friend and fired his .357 magnum at a zombie target. with the stress of my job i might as well have just gotten a professional massage it was amazing. I suggest. Find the right place and you can fire automatics also.

I own three guitars. I only need one, and I should never have splurged on the electric. I LIKE playing the guitar, quite a bit, but I don't love it enough to play it every day. I was excited because the electric is beautiful. The romance/idea of it is (as painful as this is to admit) more to me than putting the work in to become a great player.

If I wasn't so focused on trying to be a big boy, I'd keep it and say it didn't matter, but this is me trying to make up for an irresponsible purchase. And let's face it, "guitar as irresponsible purchase" is a romantic notion, too.

And there's nothing wrong with grown ups owning guns.

what's the make/model on the electric?

Schecter S-1.

Duncan Designed humbuckers, adjustable bridge, graphite nut, coil-tapping, three way switch, mahogany body with a rosewood fretboard. Minor buzz that's audible on the guitar, but not thru the amp.

And it's cherry-red, son.

that's tempting but "irresponsible" on my end too.
