in honor of christmas, and also the fact that i put a lot of depressing shit on here, I give you:
The Etymology of Kitty's Piglet Nicknames:
My cat's actual name is Sophie. She's a shitface.
"Piglet" - She's tubby. She darts around and is generally a greased pigling who is difficult to catch.
"Piggins Biggins" - An outgrowth of "Piglet," and a reference to a friend's dog, of the same name.
"Hedge-pig" - I don't know. My girlfriend ran with the pig thing. Usually only used when I wrap Sophie up in a blanket, to prevent getting pigfeeted (see below.) Usage: "Aww, she's just a little hedgepig."
"Switchblade Pigfoot" - Since Sophie is declawed in the front, she can only scratch with the back claws. If you pick her up, she cocks one foot out at a ridiculous angle, to push herself away from your body. This is locally known as "Givin' you the pigfoot, mofuckerbitch" - Past tense versions of this include "Done been pigfooted, ya dumb cracker," and "aw, fuck, I got the pigfeet." and/or "pigfeeted." The speed with which she snaps out the pigfoot is, of course, where Switchblade came from.
