Timeline: Chapter 30
Details:
Think child.
Think creepy child.
Think cheerful creepy child who could easily rip you to pieces and would happily wipe the floor with your entrails just becuase it would be really really fun -- ahaha, look, it's like finger-paint, but more colorful!
But mostly just child.
A child who's really dangerous, and maybe not quite human, ya know? Cause just like so many other people -- dogs, dogs, ravaged by technology and twisted into monsters -- Luki's been mangled and chewed up and spit out in the form of a happy little killer who's more than a force to be reckoned with. Speed, stamina, healing factor -- all specced up to their maximum, making her a monster of a powerhouse -- and her hands, on how pretty! No little rings or bracelets or other childish knick-knacks, no, with her, it's a motherfucking sword. A huge one. And a whole bunch of throwing knives, to spice things up!
But don't get it wrong, it's not like she looks scary -- she's cute, really! Adorable! Always dressed in an overly-large black coat with bunny-ears and bright pink fur lining -- she's just like a little kid you want to hug and pinch her cheeks and just -- oh so adorable! And she'll laugh and squee and be happy and jolly and go skipping off into a flowerfield full of love and happiness and --
Ahaha, did you fall for that? ♥
Well, it's not too far from the truth, actually, because Luki really is that happy! Cheerful and peppy and full of energy -- she's ridiculously fast and acrobatic -- look, a back-flip over your head! -- and pair her up with her twin, it's like having a pair of bouncy-balls on your hands that won't stop grinning at you. Even as you bleed out on the floor. Because hey, that's life! Luki and Noki, the super hunters, invincible and amazing, yay! ★ Come on mister, you have a bounty on your head, Luki saw the poster, let's play tag! Run, run -- you need to run faster than that!
(Of course, it's not just tag -- it's tag peppered with razor blades and shards of glass and wayward bullets. There's no tagbacks, no time-outs, because once she catches you, it's your blood all over the floor, bright and red, like crayon-colors!)
And oh, you'd think -- the poor, poor thing -- raised like a monster, she must be oppressing her feelings, forcing herself to smile in the face of pain, such a sad child and -- nope, that's not it either! Because what's there not to like about playing tag and hide-and-seek with these bad guys, it's so fun! Think of this way: Luki doesn't get it when people say it's wrong to fight and kill, because it's just something she's been doing all her life! Massively desensitized, and so accustomed to the thrill of fighting and it's all just a game to her. And of course, with her healing factor pumped up to the maximum, it's not like she can emphasize with pain much, either -- oh, a poor man's writhing on the ground in pain -- maybe we should put him to sleep, Noki! She does feel pain, of course, and doesn't like it -- so all the more reason to be strong and amazing!
Not that she's needlessly murderous, it's not like that -- after all, dead people aren't that much fun. The fun lies in the thrill of the chase! And besides, she likes a lot of people! Like Giovanni, and Fuu-sama, and then there's Big Brudder who's really awesome with his gun, and then the Big Sis with the sword that's the same as Fuu-sama, she's really really strong and fun, too! -- and then that other Big Brother with the long hair and the eyepath -- he's kind of weird, but still funny! Luki and Noki really like strong people, you see, but not-strong people are okay, too, like Mama Kiri, she makes really yummy spaghetti! ♥
She's just a child, really, when it all comes down to the basics -- she'll sniffle if you break her weapon, be mad if you piss her off, doesn't like it if you call her fat, but mostly -- she's just happy! About everything! Candy and good spaghetti and running around and Noki and fighting and death and bullets and knives and blades and guts and excitement and -- oh!
Hey, mister!
You want to play tag?
