It comes from Farscape, which is one of my all time favourite shows. It always makes me laugh because in Farscape world they don't even have Shakespeare, so the fact that Crichton says that always makes me giggle.
This gif was made after the July 7th bombings in London. In fact, I think it might even have been made on the actual day. But it's just SO English. We do solve everything with a cup of tea. EVERYTHING. And then there's the humour. Something shitty happens, and we make fun of it.
I remember that, along with all the jokes about making tea (I know, right? But we're British and jokes about tea make total sense), there were jokes about how impressive it was that the French had planned blowing up London so quickly, since they had only lost the Olympics to us the day before.
Ah, John and Rodney. What can I say? Even after falling out of love with the show (thanks, season five - and most of season four) I still find John/Rodney adorable and I still love the team.
Eddie Izzard is SO freaking awesome. Cake or Death is, well, it's hilarious.

In fact, Dressed to Kill is probably my favourite Eddie Izzard show.
And Hawkeye. Do I need to explain Hawkeye?

His few minutes in Thor were totally my favourite and I can't wait for The Avengers (Although I suspect there is going to need to be lots of fix-it fic about Clint and Darcy afterwards - you know, those two characters who didn't even meet in Thor)
