Since I've been in the US I've seen movies, tv shows and premiere's and read some books.

There are so many things I could start with, but I feel I have to start with White Collar and Covert Affairs because I have just watched them.

OMG OMG OMG That totally rocked. Totally and utterly rocked.

Neal and Peter are still exactly how they should be. All the bickering and the snark and the love. Oh, the love.

Neal putting the anklet back on by putting his foot on the car because he knew it would annoy Peter *g*

El, despite only having a few scenes was as amazing as always. And she naturally points out that Peter wants to know what Neal was going to say last season before he was interrupted by the plane exploding.

Neal and Diane working together and going the fist bump made me laugh and smile. Especially when Peter tried to fist bump Neal too, and Neal and Diane share something of a look *g*

And Neal correcting Mozzie when he referred to Diane as 'female suit' made me want to hug him.

And the way that Peter just knows that Walker had got to Neal and that Neal is going to do something stupid. And then his muttered, 'he never listens to me anyway' was adorable.

And Mozzie and Peter are having secret meetings to talk about Neal so they can help him because they are both worried about him. And then how Peter totally accepts that Neal and Mozzie are going to be investigating Kate's death and tells Mozzie that he'll be there to help any way he can *hugs*

And both Peter and Neal refer to each other as a friend. It is possible that made me squee very inappropriately.

And the bickering in the vault and the way a few looks and they both knew what the plan was and how they both told the woman to give them a moment and she just didn't know how to deal with them.

And the hat came back *g*

And then Diane has the box. Why does Diana have the box? I refuse to believe that she is a bad guy. There is some other explanation.

And, uh, is anyone else thinking that Kate isn't dead? I totally subscribe to the idea that unless you see the body it could very well not be there.

I pretty much decided that Annie was awesome when she was totally unapologetic about having and enjoying sex when the guy doing her CIA interview was slightly disapproving. And then she was the first to jump out of a plane.

But I have to admit that my favourite is totally Auggie. He's cute and adorable and the snark and the puppy dog eyes are totally irresistible. The bit when he followed Annie into the bathroom and he's leaning against the door was *guh* And then there was the bit where he picked up the girl in the bar. Hilarious.

And Annie, Auggie and Calton (was that his name?) sitting around using their skills to read girls was kind of brilliant.

But how awesome was the cast? Henry from Ugly Betty. Maggie from Leverage. Lester from The Wire. And Peter Gallagher.

Am I the only one not that interested in the whole 'her boyfriend is a kind of spy?' arc that is obviously going to be present? I just hope they do it better than White Collar did the whole Kate storyline.

Although I do admit that I find it difficult to see him as a good guy as he played one of the hyena in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I know it was a while a go, but I can't help it.

The bit where Auggie and Annie sneaked into the morgue and then got caught was great and the FBI interview was brilliant. Auggie in particular made me laugh during it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this show.

Another episode that totally rocked.

The opening scene was hilarious. Hardison pointing to a pissed off Elliott was so funny as was Hardison saying that Elliott was washing out coffee, blood and teeth.

Parker being jealous was adorable as was the fact that everyone knew it. And Hardison talking to Parker after the girl left was so cute. He knew what Parker was saying. I love how he gets her SO well. And that he told her he'd wait and she got it too. Oh, I just want to hug them both so hard.

Sophie getting in Nate's face when he goes a little over the top was great and makes me like Sophie more. I do like how they continue to show Nate's drinking is a problem.

Hardison and Elliott discussing how prison has changed Nate and not being sure if it was for the better or worse was hilarious.

So, it looks like Sasha Alexander is back in TV. Also, she shouldn't be a blonde. It's not a good look.

I'm not too sure I like this. It's like Bones, just without David Boranaz. A cop who uses her heart and a scientist who uses her brain. It's not like we've seen that before *eyeroll*

The case itself was boring and I didn't think any of the characters clicked.

It might get better with time, but I have so many shows I'll be watching this season that I don't think I'll be watching this one.

Films

This really was all kinds of awesome. I really enjoyed it and thought it was well written and had a great plot.

The minions were cute and adorable and totally stole the show.

It was clever and brilliant and such a good story with a REALLY satisfying conclusion.

It had me crying like a baby. Not that this surprised me.

The only thing I thought was that it wasn't as funny as the previous two films. Although, Spanish Buzz was HILARIOUS! I kind of love Jessie and Buzz. They make a lovely couple.

Also, Ken was hilarious. Very hilarious.

Bad, like really bad.

The actually bending was well done but that was about it. Oh, I liked Iroh, because despite not looking like Iroh from the cartoon he was still very much like him.

I did, despite my better judgement like Sokka and, uh, the guy playing him was really rather hot.

But Aang and Katara in particular were disappointments. They had none of the depth the characters of the cartoon and were really one dimensional.

And let's not even go into all the stuff that was ignored from the cartoon that, really, was kind of important.

And, yeah, WOW the racefail is damn fucking faily. I mean, I'm not surprised because I've obviously heard about it and all. But, DAMN! All talking parts are white people apart from Zuko and his dad. So the two villains of the film are ethnic and those who are 'good' are white. How fucking obvious can they be?

And, yeah, if you know the cartoon at all, then a white guy is going to show the ethnic guys the error of their ways.

How could Hollywood not see how bad this is?

How were so many people going on about how brilliant this is?

I managed to stay completely spoiler free and, despite there being lots of conversations going on around me, I had figured out the big 'twist' within 20 minutes. It wasn't particularly difficult.

Apart from wondering how everyone got out from where Lawrence Fishbourne was, I really enjoyed this.

Adrian Brody had very impressive muscles and a deep, gravely voice. He became really rather attractive to me for the first time.

I was kind of upset that the Samuari died. He was cool.

I did like all the comments about the first Predator film. And the call back with Adrian Brody getting covered in mud to confuse their heat sensor vision.

And, wow, I think there will definitely be a sequel *g*

It wasn't the TV show but I still kind of loved this.

It was a bit strange having Hannibal being somewhat restrained (despite making insane plans) and Face being the rebellious one.

Murdoch wasn't quite insane enough.

But Bradley Cooper as Face was brilliant and I kind of loved him.

And, despite him not being quite the Hannibal I remember and love, I did love Liam Neeson as Hannibal. And, uh, was I the only one who saw some distinct slashy vibes between Face and Hannibal? In the TV show I saw those slashy vibes between Face and Murdoch, but here it was defintely Face and Hannibal.

The plot did have enough holes to drive the odd tank through, but, despite that, I did find it fun.

As long as you don't expect an amazing film, this is good summer fun.

Hopefully I'll get to see The Sorcerer's Apprentice before I go back to the UK.

Also, both the Scott Pilgrim and The Expendables trailers have me super excited. If they are half as good as the trailers suggest, they should be awesome.
