Merlin
So, my DVDs were very nicely waiting for me when I got home last night. I was ever so slightly excited. Even walking home in the rain couldn't dampen my mood (although it would have dampened significantly if the DVD hadn't been there)
I settled in for the evening and watched all the audio commentaries and features. I was (still am) slightly squee induced, so here's what I can remember. I think I might need to watch them all again at least five or six times just to be sure I've noticed everything. That's dedication for you, huh? Not slightly scary at all *shakes head*
I was really excited about Tony Head doing a commentary, and I wasn't wrong to be. He's even more brilliant that I originally thought.
Throughout the entire commentary on The Gates of Avalon, Bradley James had Tony Head in fits of laughter. Absolute fits. It was bloody adorable.
I think it might just about be impossible to not rewind and check out that jacket when Bradley tells you too
And I loved Tony going on about his pendent and Bradley going on about the crown of the week.
And Bradley doing 'sword noises' and Tony pointing out that the noises he's making come from a completely differnt movie (Star Wars, just in case your mind is in the gutter. I know you lot *g*)
The commentary on The Moment of Truth was probably one of the most hilarious things I've ever had the joy of listening to. The four of them together is brilliant. Colin and Bradley just insult each other all the time, Katie is gullible and really can't stop laughing.
I swear both her and Angel are Merlin/Arthur fangirls. Angel going on about Merlin and Arthur's goodbye and Colin telling her not to fuel those websites (did he say those websites of the websites - because, in my mind, 'the' suggests that he knows of their existence but hasn't necessarily been on them, but 'those' suggests that he has - and may have been mentally scared for life *g*)
The foot scene was Bradley's favourite (although, I'm guessing for slightly different reasons from ours *g*) and he did an impression of Colin's accent
Loved Katie pointing out how dim Morgana is that she doesn't see Merlin doing magic in front of her *g*
And Bradley going on about Merlin not saving Will and then the BBQ was hilarious.
By the end of the episode I was crying with laughter.
I loved seeing more Katie on the video diary. She's so awesome *g*
Colin "controlling" the glider was brilliant as was Colin getting "attacked" by someone in the mysterious(?) van (I can't remember how Bradley described it) (and I do love hearing Bradley properly laughing *is shallow*)
And Bradley having an entire conversation with Colin about his cheekbones (guys, this is what fuels the websites as well, you know)
Bradley checking on Colin after he's done his first stunt (and I found it hilarious that Bradley, Holliday and Kenneth were all lounging about on Arthur's bed while Colin got prepared for his stunt *g*
There is so much more I should remember. I was going to write down all the stuff I truly loved, but I realised that might be, well, everything and that it would take a hell of a long time. Also, I just wanted to watch it all in one go and fall even more in love *G*
