I'm on holiday - no work for the next six days *g*
*happy dance*
I'm so ready for it, I can tell you. I'm so tired and just don't seem to be able to get untired. Now I can actually sleep for longer, hopefully I'll start to feel ever so slightly more awake.
I do have stuff to do. I need to buy presents for my brother and mum. There's nothing like leaving it to the last minute, is there?
I also need to go to the Apple store, because I, uh, managed to wash my ipod a couple weeks ago. Whoops. So, yeah, I need to get that replaced *g*
Actually, I seem to be having a bit of a thing for washing electrical goods: a couple of months ago, my 1GB USB key disappeared. I assumed I'd lost it somewhere at work, in the insanity of the beginning of term. Apparently, I was wrong, because five days ago I found it in my washing machine. It was a wee bit rusty (understatement) but somehow it still works!
I have five Merlin/Arthur fics to attempt to complete during the holidays. They are in various stages of completion, some of them have stalled, others just haven't had much written because of not having the time yet. This is possibly a little bit ambitious - or maybe not, who knows?
And then there is the
reel_merlin fic, that I think I'm going to have to start writing down because it refuses to leave my head at the moment.
I also have my McShep sequel for A Long Time Gone to complete. It's about half done. I need to get my act together on that one.
I'd also quite like to read somemore of the 100 odd books piled up in my spare room.
Oh, and can I just say - 2 days till the the Dr Who special *is all excited*
I'm watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire' and is this really a difficult question:-
'Whistlejacket' is a famous painting by which artist?
A) Thomas Gainsborough
B) Joshua Raymolds
C) John Constable
D) George Stubbs
Oh, and can I just recommend that anyone who hasn't seen Leverage really should do so. I think it's great.
