1) Just a quick reminder that anyone who would like a Christmas card should leave me their address in
this post. All comments screened. Obviously.
2) Everyone should remember to go and nominate their favourite McShep fics of the year.
Somehow this week has been way busy and I've not had much time to read fic online. I'm going to have to hurry up and read some either tonight or tomorrow -- or both. If I'm crap and don't nominate (RL = blah), I'll definitely vote *g*
3) Just clicked onto my profile page. It's changed. I'm...dubious about it.
4) TV round-up. I've watches so much this week (at night, when I should have been sleeping -- especially after staying up all night to watch the US election)
No NCIS this week. Thank god I didn't forget it.
Still too scared to watch SGA until all the episodes are in and I know how much the writers fuck up the show.
stellaluna_ has a fabulous review
here and there's nothing I can really think to add. This is just general squee-ing
I loved, loved the Indiana Jones vibe of this one. Only one pun from Mac. I was impressed by the restraint.
I also loved that fake!Indy remembered to grab his hat. That made me very gleeful.
Poor Adam.
I really, loved Flack, Danny and Mac all agreeing that if anyone touched their sisters (real or imagined) then the guys would be dead. No question. If any of them decide to come after you, you should be afraid. But especaially of Flack and Mac, I feel. Danny would be too emotional about it and probably make a silly mistake. I can't see either Flack or Mac doing that.
And my personal feeling - until the show says different - is that Mac has a sister.
Danny and Flack on the swings was adorable.
I didn't see the twist coming and I loved it.
Lindsay and Danny obviously aren't in a place in their "relationship" that they take vacation together.
Hawkes - 'Turns out San Francisco is closed over winter' - brilliant. I do love Hawkes so damn much.
I'm totally digging the whole secret HQ.
Jeff. I just...Jeff.
I loved Lester and Morgan teaming up together to get their best friends back.
And Casey thought that Chucks's doing good work. This makes me happy.
New Assistant Manager. Oh, this is going to be good. (but probably not for Chuck - in fact I know not good for Chuck)
I'm loving this show more and more. I watched ep 4 and ep 5 out of order, so, uh, my observations might be a bit muddled.
I'm quickly falling in love with Rigsby. He's just full of awesome and the way he and Cho interact with Jane have me in stitches. I do love how they just roll their eyes and let him get on with whatever weird thing he's doing and are just so blase about it all.
Also Jane and Lisbon are so much fun.
I swear I saw a distinct moment of femslash between Lisbon and Grace during epiosde 4.
Dean becoming a freaked out, parnoid, scaredy-cat was one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen.
He screamed at a cat jumping out at him. I LOVED it.
And Sam being so 'dude, seriously?' was fricking hilarious. Although I did think he was possibly, slightly mean to Dean. Although, if roles had been reversed, he'd have been terrible to Sam.
I was less impressed that to save Dean they had to kill a ghost, because that was one mean way to die.
Bobby and Sam teasing Dean was totally of the WIN
A Halloween episode that was creepy and scary. I'm used to Halloween episodes on scary shows being piss takes, not really freaky. Just think of all the fabulous Buffy Halloween episodes. They were always much of the funny.
Castiel. I love and adore Castiel. When he was telling Dean that he didn't know the answers to right and wrong anymore I just wanted to hug him. How fucked is the world if an Angel is having morality issues?
And Uriel freaked me the fuck out, man. I loved it. (And for those wondering, Robert Wisdom, has been in The Wire and Prison Break)
And his talk with Sam at the end? Oh, that can't be good.
And why do I think that Sam meeting the Angels has made him less likely to not not use his powers?
Yeah, if you love Morgan/Reid (like I do) this was definitely the episode to you.
From Morgan being the one who wakes Reid up on the plane (at least I'm nearly positive it's Morgan), to Reid talking to Morgan about his nightmares, to Reid calling for Morgan in his sleep, to Morgan going and digging up an old case, trying to help Reid deal. I mean, it was a slashers dream episode *g*
Also, I love how it shows the affection and friendship they have. It's a wonderful thing.
I actually liked Prentiss teasing Reid for falling alseep. I also love her working with Rossi. More of that, please.
Diane Reid is amazing. I love that woman. And I find Reid sleeping on her couch totally adorable.
I don't think Reid's dad will be a killer. I think it's just lots of Reid's issues manifesting themselves in that way. At least, I hope not. I think that will be just a bit too much.
Hotch asking Morgan if he can find anything to do in LV for a night *snort* (to which the answer seems to be hang out with the team and have chinese)
I do feel sorry for Garcia not getting to be included in these types of team moments because she's you know, in Virginia.
I'm flagging a bit on True Blood. I'm really not sure if I like it or not.
Oh, and I'm watching Life. I got the DVDs sent over from the US because I love and adore Damien Lewis.
It is awesome. I'm totally in love with the show. Lewis is amazing. Charlie is a great character and Lewis just gives him so much infliction.
Dani Reese is so fucking cool. I adore her.
And Reese and Crews? Amazing double act. Just hilarious.
Adam Arkin as Ted. Love. Because I love Adam Arkin.
I can't wait to finish season one and start dling season two.
Charile says stuff like:-
You don't have to understand 'here' to be 'here.'
Maybe life is a dream and we wake up when we die?
How can you not love him?
Going to do a huge Merlin post later. I want to look at all the episodes so far. I don't know why. It might have something to do with the pretty (otherwise known as Bradley James *g*)
