A selection of things I need to say/point out

Name the 5 best pilot episodes of tv series
1) Firefly - Serenity (not to be confused with the film), to me, is one of the best pilots ever and I'm still surprised that Fox didn't like it and prefered The Train Job.
I love the way it introduces the characters and the situation and I think by not watching it, people lose so much of the Firefly universe.
2) Stargate Atlantis
Although The Storm/Eye is still my favourite episode of season one, I think The Rising is a brilliant episode. One of their best ever. In fact, it was such a good episode, that the writers had a difficult time keeping the subsequent ones to such a high standard.
3) Angel
Okay, I love how this was done. How you saw Angel, the meeting with Doyle (I still lament that he went so quickly), the meeting with Cordy is a dream and the way we meet Lindsay and Wolfram and Hart is a hoot.
4) Burn Notice
I seriously love this show and what won me over was the voice over. Voice overs are dangerous things because they can very easily not work. But this one rocks.
5) Dexter
Again, another wonderful voice over. Also, about a serial killer. How could that not rock?
I know I'm going to remember a particularly brilliant pilot as soon as I'm away from the Internet, but never mind.
2) sgabigbang - yeah, well, I think I can definitely say this isn't going to be finished in time. I've got 3 days (2 of them at work) and at the very least 30k left to write. I'm good, but I'm not that good *g* So, I'm out. Going to finish it though and hopefully post it sometime during August.
3) I've just discovered James Bond slash. Specifically Casino Royale slash. But not with Le Chiffre, but with M's assistant, Villiers. Mostly because he's cuter *g* But not really, there is the fact that I've only just watched Casino Royale and see no chemistry of that sort between Bond and Le Chiffre. The thing that is annoying is there isn't enough of it.
4) I saw Chronicles of Narnia a couple of days ago. And now I'm seeing slash between Caspian and Peter *g* That was quite easy to see in that film. I seem to have been discovering other slash pairings this week.
5) All the Americans I know, enjoy the beginning of the new season of SGA, Search and Rescue, regardless of whether you've already seen it or not *g*
6) This is currently my favourite fanfic. It's James Bond/Micheal Weston from Burn Notice. The link it here. The link it so part six because it has the links to the other 5 parts.
7) I saw the trailer for The Dark Knight. I'm so very excited.
