So, I have just spent the last 30-45 minutes sitting right in front of a wide open window with a cold wond coming through it. After getting really very cold, I got up and closed it. Why did I not do that before? And now that I've closed it enough for the wind not to be targetting me, I'm really much happier.
Much happier than I was yesterday too. I had a huge headache and my neck was killing me ever so slightly. So, I went home, got ready for bed, set up my laptop for watching the latest episode of Supernatural, took more ibeprofen than I'm supposed to, watched one of the funniest episodes of Supernatural ever, took more ibeprofen and went to bed.
I got a good nights sleep (i.e. more than the 4-5 hours I got every night this past week), and then woke, ready to write and listen to the sports show I like on the local radio talking about yesterday's footy. Who's going to with the title, who's going to get fifth place (which was a valid talking point until Portsmouth lost 0-1 to Blackburn) and whether or not Southampton are going to be relegated or not.
Man UTD sadly lost to Chelsea yesterday, but as long as we win our next two games, we win the Premiership. *touching all the wood I can find*
And, cool, just been on the BBC sports page and not only did Celtic win, but Scott MacDonald, who is one of my friend's boyfriend, scored two of them. Sweet.
And, there is a Celtic player called Caldwell, and a Rangers one called Weir. This amuses me.
And so to the writing. After a crappy week, filled with horrible RL stuff that suffocated my muse, this morning I wrote about 2500/3000 words. I'm feeling most proud.
This means that my
literal_sga is at
26068 / 35000 words. 74% done!
As I'm sure you've noticed, by final word count has moved again. I'm hoping it'll end up under 35k but I'm pretty convinced it's going be more than 30k. You know, I remember way back when I was under the impression this was only going to be about 10-15k. And then John and Rodney hyjacked my brain.
I haven't had time to really think that much about them, but I've really being enjoying new episodes Dr Who, Numb3rs and Supernatural. And I'm about to watch new CSI:NY and BSG.
