HALIFAX!
In Halifax and loving it...
We (Ash, Coady, Colleen and I) went to the Lower Deck on Sunday night. It's so different in the Winter. The best part is the outer deck, which is obviously WAY too cold to open this time of year. On the way there we ran into Neil and Marianne who were also going to the Lower Deck. What are the chances...it's always weird to see MTA people in Halifax. It's so out of context that it really messes with your head.
There was a date auction for charity there that night. Hot people being bid on by creepy, fat, balding men muttering "I'd pay $100 to fuck her"...icky. Colleen and I got bitched out by one of the cockier guys who was won by a high bidding, unattractive woman.
"Thanks for the bids ladies!" (insert snide sarcasm here)
Later on we went to Tribeca which was more our scene (at least this time of year). Niki and one of the KAS girls (Kick Ass Shoes, on Spring Garden...Niki works there) were working the door for tips. The regular door guy hurt his spleen or something. They also implemented a new pat-down rule...which seemed to only apply to the hottest/youngest/band related guys...
Madge and Craig were there for a bit too...looking ever so hot. The girls all had a blast dancing while the boys sat and looked tough. ;) I love Tribeca.
Last night we went to Coady's and played Simpson's Monopoly....until 2am. We crashed there and Ash had his first Smitty's experience (mmm....skillets).
Tomorrow we're going to Stage Nine for reggae and an excuse to dress up again. Should be fun!
Now off to Fireside for special coffee with Martin, Ash and (maybe) her other girlfriend!!
