About a month ago my sister came home with a cat who was barely older than a kitten. She was unwanted by a previous owner who had cruely dubbed her "Pussy". Little did we know our newly named kitten, Turnip, was pregnant with kittens of her own.
She had two little balls of fuzz on friday. They are so adorable with squashed-looking faces, and almost rodent like tails, and tiny ears, more to the sides of their heads than on the top. Their blue eyes will open this coming weekend, but for the time being they squeal and squirm about, bobbing their little heads until they can find a nipple and feed. They have the temporary names Rutabaga and Sweet Pea. We won't know their sexes until they are 6 weeks old.
I'll post pics in the next couple days. You wouldn't believe how quickly they grow!
