Not my best day.

I went to a jobs fair at the Rolls Royce plant here in Indianapolis today. it was scheduled from 8:00am -11:00am. I got up at 6:00am  and was there at 7:00am. I had no problem finding the place. I am so proud of you kristaolmstead December 14 2008, 04:18:40 UTC
You continued to stay in line even when they told you it was pointless. Good for you. I'm serious. I'm proud of you for sticking this out and at least getting your resume in there. I can't believe they closed the doors so early.

Big hugs.

I'm glad you have another interview arranged. Something will come up. It doesn't have to be perfect, especially for this year, but it could be at least something.

In the mean time, I have to be Krista again. Please try not to lose your house, no matter what you have to do. Do anything to keep it. Would you consider taking in a roommate or two to help pay the rent? That might help.

Now this leads me to the painful part, and I'm sure this is the part you don't want to hear.

Are the people living with you now, living rent free? If so, that has to stop now. They should be paying the exact same amount of rent that they would have to pay if they had to live elsewhere.

I know you took them in "until they got back on their feet", but your situation has changed. You aren't even on your feet now. You took them in when you thought you were ok for awhile. Now that things have changed for you, they can't expect you to keep giving them handouts, nor should you expect yourself to do it.

Please write back to me and let me know you have read this. And seriously think about getting some people who can help you pay the bills right now. Your situation may not be anybody else's fault, but their situation is not your fault either.

Do you hear what I am saying?
