VMAs?
It's been a while since I had seen an entire MTV Video Movie Awards show. Based on this experience, I have to say that I'm even more nostalgic than ever.
One, I remember listening to the Jackson 5 as a child, then MJ and Janet growing up. Seeing the tribute at the beginning with Janet made me really sad.
Green Day and the Alicia Keys + Jay Z performances saved the entire show. Russel Brand is ridiculous.
That Lady Gaga is also ridiculous.
And also, I don't like Taylor Swift (she can hold a note, yet I don't think she's very good) but I felt bad for the kid. Since I started teaching high school kids, I am reminded of how difficult those teenage years can be. On one hand, you can feel invincible, then feel your lowest some time later. That dude Kanye was way out of line.
