We're all mad here
Well, friends, I've been meaning to post for a while! But I haven't. Why, you may ask? Because I've been running around like a chicken with her head cut off!
Well, we've finally hung up some art! After getting shelves with lynxreign from his storage facility and setting them up in our living room, I looked around and said: damn! This place looks nifty! Like maybe some people live here or something. What has followed is a whirlwind of decorating and organization that has left me looking around thinking "I love my house!" which... hmm... how to explain this? I don't think of myself as materialistic, but on the other hand, I like *my* things. I''m not a photographs kind of girl, so having my stuff around me, displayed etc. is how I tie myself to my past. Finally having this place decorated has lowerd my stress level amazingly! My down time is so much more recouperative when I feel like I am spending it at home.
This frenzy of organization is also tied to the upcoming party! FRIDAY! COME! We have restocked our hard liquor, please come help us drink it! :)
COSTUMES STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! I have a costume. I was at the garment district with mebib till idunno, midnight? yesterday. *izded*
Bill and I had a coupon to the container store. So, we bought a new cart for me. It's technically a wrapping cart, but it's SO SO SO perfect for what I do. So that, and three new clear tubs and I decided to go through ALL MY MULTITUDES OF CRAFT THINGS AND REORGANIZE THEM! It's awesome. The foyer is almost empty now, and all my things are in my closet.

I fail, because I have not mentioned it here, but I am collaborating with shadesong on this week's Wind Tunnel Dreams!(her ongoing series of short fictions) The writer writes, the maker makes! One a day for five days! The theme is seasons. Her writing is lovely. You should go check it out!

Winter tomorrow. The fifth season is a surprise :) And of course, they're available for purchase on My Etsy
Got a good chunk of this work done at kythryne's introvert party. After the maskmaker's busy season is over, I'm going to finish her mask and work on some bits she could use in her jewelry crafting.
Games continue a pace, vampire was glorious. Requiem for Rome has the BEST social combat evar. gaming being cancelled tonight due to illness is a blessing in disguise. I am going to work very hard on masks, and we are going to decorate the apartment for the party and bill is going to run some errands.
Work is wonderful and glorious and supportive. And I am renewed in that environment.
I feel more "me" than I have in a very very long time. :)
I miss my music. Anyone know how to get data off an ipod with a cracked screen? It won't talk to my computer, and bill's has a virus so none of the ipods will talk to it. although it did recognize the broken one *before* it got sick.
