It's quarter of midnight here. I was just standing out on the balcony that over looks the small street the hotel is on and it feels great out.
Incase you were curious, Paris really IS the city of love. So far though it seems only those people who shouldn't display it, make you completely aware that is. You know, those people you see jamming each other's tongues down their throats, there isn't any sex appeal or poise to it and you just sort of throw up almost a little. Went on a tour today and saw basically the entire city including Notre Dame. I lit a candle for my Uncle Mike and Great Aunt Mami even though she's jewish. It's the thought that counts, I think. Went to a cafe around the corner from the hotel for dinner. Tomorrow we're taking a boat ride down the Sein River then going to the Moulin Rouge for dinner. This morning I had a French boy come up to me and try and get me to sign up for what I believe was his soccer team. My aunt realized what was going on though and said no for me before I could. It's probably for the better anyways, he doesn't know that I'm asthmatic and clumsy. It started raining later in the day but still looked great. It's very charming here regardless. The one thing is though, I don't know how to ask for a toothpick and since I get things stuck in my teeth very frequently it's difficult. I had to steal one from my sandwhich at the cafe that was holding it together. The sandwhich, not the cafe. There also seems to be quite a lot of accidents here, because the ambulances keep going around with their sirens whailing. Which isn't as bad as you imagine because it's different from in the States and I actually enjoy the noise. I think that's about it except for a few things I'd mention along with some pictures. The strangest thing happened today...
It seemed strangely odd that these French Fries tasted so much like our mighty Freedom Fries. Clearly the damn French are stealing our ideas.
The candles in Notre Dame
And yes the Batsignal IS located on top of the Eiffel Tower.
