Don't know those two. But Blackbeard, Edward Teach- or Thatch, was an English pirate who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of the American colonies during the early eighteenth century.

Same way I wound up here I suppose.

The akuma are more like shadows or ghosts than Blackbeard's darkness which is from black holes. But I saw something a lot like his here. Too many things don't add up.
