[Ace is back to a guy, and looking far more serious and actually smarter than usual.]I need help of anyone who knows a lot about the history of this world, or at least how to navigate the library better

My Blackbeard was named Marshall D. Teach, but he wanted to surpass my father: Edward Newgate. If he ran amok in another world, he might take that name.
Ahhh...lessee. Had to have been in 1716. That was when he started terrorizing merchants and others. From what I can recall, he liked striking during the early hours of dawn, and the late hours at twilight. Around 1718 he had set up a base off the coast of North Carolina. The governor of Virginia at the time, Alexander Spotswood, sent out two sloops. After a bit of fighting, Lieutenant Robert Maynard killed Blackbeard by tricking his crew into thinking the navy crew was dead.
Almost two centuries by now, and we're still not really sure if it actually happened or not.
...If anything else, we can always take a look at any records that concern pirate sightings. 'Cause after Blackbeard, nobody really paid attention to patterns unless they looked for 'em. Plus, if he's around America, I'm better than any guide you'll get through the Order. [Not to mention it'd be personal if this was the case.]
I mean, there's no way he'd live for 100 years though. But he might come back, I dunno.
He...
If he's here...
He broke the pirate code. In the worst way possible. The very worst. I tried to kill him already... hn. I'd need Smoker's help. Because he has seastone.
No problem! Hand-to-hand, muskets, any gun in general, really. Swords...that I need to work on a little, but I remember the drills. I'm no stranger to fighting, or wars in general.
Teach fights hands to hand, but he has the power of black holes -- or infinite gravity, darkness. He sucks everything in and neutralizes other devil fruits. Um. Recently I saw something a lot like that, but it was akuma related. And I heard about there being a Blackbeard here and even though it could just be a coincidence -- I mean, anything with beard is a common pirate name, I got pretty worried it was related to him.
I don't have a devil fruit, so I don't think it'd do much good against me. But, nah, it's good to investigate it, right? I'd feel better knowing that my home and England's shores were safe from that guy.
[Who better to ask than America?]

Did they mention darkness?
Did he have a weird obsession for cherry pie and could he eat an entire cow on his own?

Darkness? ...Well, he had a thing for the dawn and twilight hours because it was harder to see his ship during that time!
...That, I have no idea. I just know he's brutal.

Well.
That all sounds like him. Hn.

Hey, don't count me out just yet! I'm not as defenseless as I look! [He grins.]

Haha, okay Alfred. Um. Sorry for asking, I do trust you, but do you have any experience fighting?
