[He shakes his head in an exasperated expression, lying down. It's obvious he's not going anywhere. He's not upset with the man. There's something about him that the dragon couldn't be angry at. Annoying? Definitely. But he could learn to love the obnoxiousness.]

[He starts to shake his head no, then changes his mind in the middle and shakes his head yes. It's not serious, though. There's a playfulness to it.

The dragon lets out a heavy breath, nosing in Ace's direction, then the door, urging him to hurry up.]

[Shows up carrying twice his own weight in food.] Hey there Toothless! [Beams and holds out raw fish.]

I can cook it now too if you want. But hah, you can probably do that yourself it you wanted.

[He's thrilled. Completely thrilled. He dives headfirst into the food, munching as much as he can fit in his mouth at a time. After a few minutes of this, he pauses, noses a fish out towards Ace, and sits down on his back legs, looking at him expectantly.]

[Laughs happily and takes the offered fish and lights his hand on fire, cooking it through.] Thanks! [Beams again and nibbles his fish cheerfully before offering more of it to Toothless.]

He jumps at the fire and moves closer, practically sticking his nose in the man's hand. This is insane! Humans making fire just appear? He's sniffing and nosing the hand over and over again.

[Giggles because the hand sniffling is cute as hell, and pets Toothless head.] Here back up a little buddy, I don't know how fireproof you are. [Hovers a small flame above his hand.]

I can turn completely into fire. It's my devil fruit. [Pets Toothless again with the really warm hand.]

[He leans into the warmth, closing his eyes for a minute. Being cold-blooded, it feels really nice. Guess who's sleeping in Ace's room when the weather gets cold?]

[Awww, Ace welcomes it and warms up the rest of him a little more, being the tiny furnaces he is, without actually bursting into flames.]

[He steps back, building a swirl of lightning in his mouth. With a glance at Ace, he shoots it off at one of the walls. Toothless then shakes his head. Nope, no fire. Just that.]
