[Sometime after her last conversation with Vash (it was sad :( ), Meryl went on a quest to make him something nice. She even stopped her catfight with Faye to do this! Anyway, picking a gift for a man is hard. Even for one that cries while eating donuts like Vash the Stampede, but Meryl figures that if it's from the heart, she should be okay. And what better way to make a gift from the heart than when you have the ability to turn solid matter into a glowing, glittering gel to be molded/mushed/fused/etc?
Meryl figures there's nothing to remarkable about this power. There are people manipulating water and causing explosions, after all! But it does the job, allowing her to create a spiral-colored rose out of several colors of fake roses purchased at a hobby shop. The final result is a spiral of reds, yellows, blues and white that has a surreal glow glittering about it that makes it look none too real at all. It's larger than the other products, and yes, Meryl is slightly worried that it's too girlie. (Not to mention she had to tape up her hands because she's been chewing her fingernails completely off for some habituous reason, and blood in the flower would be T-A-C-K-Y.) But then again, Vash did like the teddy bear. And he won't take it to mean something AWFUL and scandalous like some would. Because they all suck, Meryl insists.]
[the jist: The gift has been left on Vash's doorstep with a rough knock on the door, and Meryl leaving the scene quickly. Yeah, she knows Vash is out, but someone has to be in there and she doesn't want anyone to steal it.
So, therefore, she's going to be running out of Building 12 like a midget clothed for WINTER bat out of hell, and if anyone wants anything to do with Meryl Stryfe, for better or worse (because both are wonderful), feel free to leap in now.]
