just rain

there is a line of thunderstorms to our north. It is slowly inching south. A few hours ago it was putting off a really impressive lightning show. Right now it is much closer but with less lightning, and it seems to be having so much trouble making it the last few miles. If it ever gets here it will cool things down a lot. I've been staying awake to watch the storm and also so I could close my windows when the rain arrives, if its windy, but no sooner. But at this rate I may fall asleep before it gets here, if it does at all.
