Danced for like 3 hours...
After being insanely depressed last night about shit, I slept like a mofo.
Talked a LOTTTT today with my roommates about random stuff, which was fantastic! Like, dude... roommates I enjoy! As hilarious as Mike was, and Dan/Wes/Shen/Ryan/whoeverelse were, Tara and Shane are pretty damn sweet!
Anyway, an observation.
Tonight we had the Hillel party for the first years in the Quarry Basement. Great music, and the 5 freshies who showed up were really fun kids!
So I get there and we set up and stuff, and then we're just sitting around waiting for people to come. Everyone looks either bored, or trapped, or just Very Not With It, so I just got up and started dancing, for the fuck of it. Sarah, being Sarah, just continued to stare blankly. Now, I don't do shit like that for the attention, but at the same time it's a little weird not to be noticed, or just simply overlooked. So what if I can't dance, and so what if I act stupid, and so what if I'm not so attractive? As soon as those 5 freshies came in (2 of which being some pretty cool guys) they were doing all the same stupid dance shit I do, because DUH, why the fuck not when there's music blaring and you're energetic and stuff? Well, y'kno, needless to say the two guys sparked Sarah's curiosity, and up she went to dance in that circle. Thanks. Fuck you, O Human Attraction. (man, though, I totally loved the whole party!)
I LOVE TOMER, he and Mich are fantastic together!
