Dear Brad,
Hi. Wow this is weird. I've never written to myself from the future before, but there is always a first for everything. I just thought I'd let you know how thigns turn out ahead of time. It seems you could use the encouragement. I remember this night. Why are you still up? You still have a paper to finish. But this is also the last day of undergraduate career, and you were nervous and a bit uncertain. After math class, you went back to the room to shave. Then you and your friends went to the "Alterna-Banquet." And it was a good way to end the year, a sign post of things yet to come, a strong showing of friendship from some you still see, some you occasionally hear from, and some long gone(don't worry;as far as I(...err, you) know, no one is dead yet. Man, the next week was busy, but you got through it. That summer you finished your internship, hung out like a teenager, and went to Scotland (!). Then you worked your crap job, but continued to write and read and prepare. You had to beg, but you did get into grad school, and you did finish. Your parents were proud, still in their slice of heaven outside of Beardstown. Almsot accidently, you did get a job with the Genocide Prevention Initative. It will take you places you could only dream and nightmare about. It is fulfilling. You are making an a impact, all professional and such. In the meantime, you and the girl...well, you'll figure that out soon enough. You're going to make it just fine Brad. Things didn't turn out exactly like you wanted them to, but they turned out none the less. This was a great time in your life, enjoy it, embrace it, take it by the horns and run. Oh and, you never really do master grammar, but maybe that is something you could work on? Just a thought. And quit being so darn self-centric. It's kind of weird.
