Hawk, again
Even in Inwood, one does not expect to glance out one's window and see a full-sized hawk chowing down right there on top of your Air Conditioner.
Not sure if this could be the same hawk I saw around last month. The coloring and plumage look different but that is apparently something that can happen with age. Any votes on whether this be the same hawk or different? Anyway, once I tried to get him from the window my air conditioner actually squats on, he wasn't cool and flew away. First time I've ever had occasion to flinch at the mere sound of that kind of wingspan taking flight.
