[The video whirs to life while the young medic still has her face too close to the camera as she inspects the small device. She jumps a little when she realizes that she did in fact hit the right button and that it's now recording.]I guess it must be working... Huh, I got no idea what S.T.A.R.S. is, and that's saying something. Wonder if it's something future-y and new... or something unAmerican. That would make sense.

Anyway! Anyone given ya the low-down on the city yet?

I don't know about futuristic, the STARS team has been around for a while, although I joined recently. But it is American. It's part of the Raccoon City Police Department in midwestern America.

And I've heard a little bit about the city, just that it's called Discedo and it's on a different planet...although I don't know how I got here...or where the others are...

Do you know if there's anyone from the Alpha Team here? Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Barry Burton, Captain Wesker, or any of the others? I was supposed to meet them... at the mansion in the mountains...maybe they were brought here too.

It's American and I've never heard of it? Definitely in the future! Past 1969, anyway, but a lot of people seem to come from beyond that.

Basically, the People in Charge are a bunch of scientists who brought us here I dunno why, but I'm guess it has something to do with helping out the less fortunate and saving the day!

I used to know a Wesker! I've heard a Chris and Jill around, but I dunno if it's the same ones or not. Dunno 'em personally.

Maybe for you, but this place is heavy on the time travel hijinks! Seriously, it gets confusing even for me.

Ti-time travel? Is that even possible? I read one or two articles talking about it, but most were completely theoretical.
